The 53^rd Annual Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival will be held May 2-3, 2026 at the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship. Hours: Saturday 8:30am-6pm and Sunday 8:30am-5pm. The event will be held rain or shine

The Shepherd’s Harvest Sheep and Wool Festival will be held on Mother’s Day Weekend, May 8-10, 2026 at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Elmo, Minnesota. This event is a celebration of all things fiber! The featured breed will be the Bluefaced Leicester.
